Ferguson: officially a Hip Hood!

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch's latest Hip Hood: Ferguson

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch's latest Hip Hood: Ferguson

I’ve spent years pitching Ferguson stories to the local media, trying to convince them that something special was happening here, and finally, somebody got it!  St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Diane Toroian Keaggy has done an absolutely awesome job of capturing Joe Lonero, Mike Lonero and the many other people (characters one and all) who make Ferguson such a fun, interesting place. Thank you, Diane!

So much is happening in the city right now, it’s exciting to finally see everyone’s hard work coming to fruition. Check out the Ferguson Hip Hoods feature here, and don’t miss the video!

What a fun article about the wonderful changes in Ferguson! I think this city is like that USA Network ad: “Characters Welcome” :)
