Pattonville High School's varsity drill team became Missouri's 5A state champion last month and also placed fourth in the nation.
February was a busy month for the talented ladies of Pattonville High School’s varsity drill team. Not only did they become Missouri state champions in the 5A division, but they also placed fourth nationwide in the large school hip-hop category at the 2010 National Dance Team Championships in Orlando, Florida.
Now, Pattonville School District is looking to share the love and develop some new talent by offering free “pom skills” camps in April. Any eighth-grader who lives within the district is invited to participate in these training sessions, where members of the varsity drill team will help campers strengthen their dance skills.
The camps will be held April 5 and 7, 3 to 4:30pm, at Holman Middle School and April 6 and 8, 3 to 4:30pm, at Pattonville Heights Middle School. To register or get more info, call (314) 213-8094.
