Northern Arts Council offers Art Journaling workshop

Looking for a creative way to express yourself or a fun method for dealing with life’s challenges? Why not try art journaling? This Saturday, July 10, the Northern Arts Council (NAC) is welcoming art therapist Kelley Brown for an afternoon workshop on how to make an art journal.
A graduate of the SIUE Art Therapy Counseling program, where she studied art journaling as a processing technique for therapists, Brown has presented at the National Art Therapy Conference and was recently featured on Psychology Today’s Arts in Healing blog. She currently works as an art therapist at Queen of Peace Center in St. Louis, where she runs a weekly art journaling groups for expecting mothers.
If you’d like to attend the NAC workshop, you must pre-register. The cost is $15 for NAC members and $20 for non-members. The workshop will be held July 10, 1-4pm, at 27 S. Florissant, 63135.
