Women’s Clothing Boutique opens in Ferguson

After years of working for other retailers, NyQuesha Thomas dreamed of running her own boutique. So earlier this month, with the help of her fiance, Charles Butler, she opened the Fitting Room, a women’s clothing store with a fun, youthful vibe.
Located in downtown Ferguson, right next to Cose Dolci bakery, the boutique doesn’t have an enormous selection yet but what’s there is right on trend. Classic jeans, flirty tank tops, graphic tees – you’ll find them all at the Fitting Room…and there’s much more on the way.
“This is just a test drive,” says Thomas, 20, a North County native who’s also an aspiring model. “We tried to bring in items for all ages and sizes, and now we’ll just see who comes in and what our customers demand.”
“We have a mix of casual clothes and things you might wear going out,” Butler adds. And yes, even plus-sized gals can get some love here. Prices are quite reasonable too.
Butler grew up in Ferguson but now he and Thomas live in Normandy. Both say they’re excited to be a part of Ferguson’s recent progress, and they hope to become more involved with the downtown business district.
“My grandma has lived in Ferguson for at least 30 years, and my whole family loves this area,” Butler says. “We’re very happy to have our store here.”
The Fitting Room, which you can find on Facebook, is at 48 S. Florissant Rd, 63135, with parking in the rear. Hours are Monday-Saturday, 9am-9pm.

OMG! I love this store! I came in looking for a nice dress to wear to a black and white party and they had an awesome selection. I was informed of the low stock due to the grand opening being next month but finding a cute offit was no problem! Love it!
They already have a great selection,cant wait to see what comes in next!
