Tickets go on sale for the Touhill’s fall season

Seven years ago this fall, the Touhill Performing Arts Center opened its doors amid a wee bit of controversy. “Not in North County!” the theater crowd gasped back then. But today, even the NoCo naysayers have come to love this world-class opera house, which once again is rolling out a jam-packed schedule featuring a little something for everyone.
Individual tickets go on sale Monday, August 9, for the 2010-2011 season. Here’s just a taste of what you can look forward to…

- October 26 – Amy Grant
- October 28 – The Maeandros Ensemble
- November 18 – Dr. Maya Angelou
- November 19 – Masters of the Fiddle: Natalie Manchester & Donnell Leahy
- November 20 – Martin Short

I never considered the Touhill until reading this article. Now it seems to make so much sense — dinner in Ferguson and a show at the Touhill. I am looking forward the Natalie McMaster gig in November.
