In 2010, cabaret singer Angela Shultz won a prestigious MAC Hanson Award for her work. Then in 2011, she had a starring role in Do Overs, one of New York City’s top cabaret shows. This Saturday, the Missouri native returns to St. Louis for a one-night-only performance. And guess what? It’s right here in North County.
St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Ferguson is hosting the event, and all are welcome. Admission is free!
Schultz grew up in Jefferson County and once worked as a vocal teacher at Fontbonne University, but the Big Apple is now her home. For this show, she’ll be accompanied by local pianist David Horstman. So if you like Broadway show tunes, presented in a beautiful building with awesome acoustics, don’t miss this chance to see this award-winning singer.
Angela Shultz performs Saturday, February 11, 7pm at St. Peter’s, 1425 Stein Road @ West Florissant, 63135.
