Advertise on NOCO

If you’ve been reading this blog, you should know: I’m on a mission to improve North County’s image. I want to promote the very best this community has to offer, serving as your hip local guide and a conduit for positive news and information.

NOCO is currently reaching more than 30,000 readers every month and is getting 575,000 hits (meaning the total number of pages & files served). With the recent launch of a new site design, there are now several ways to be a NOCO advertiser, with ads starting at just $65 a month.

Advertising Policies

• Ads must be in .gif or .jpg format, in a file no larger than 60kb.

• Complimentary design service is available to new advertisers for one non-animated ad, subject to advertiser approval.  Simple photo updates are free. Complete ad re-designs are $25, as is the initial design of animated ads.

• Ad invoices are mailed on the 22nd of every month, with payment due by the 5th of the following month.  Payments not received by that time shall result in the ad being removed from the site until payment is made.  New advertisers MUST pre-pay for the first month.  A discount of 5% applies to all pre-paid advertising of three months or more.

• Standards ads are rotated every 2-3 days, moving from the bottom of the row to the top. Header ads and Main Display ads rotate continuously, with no more than three advertisers sharing one space.

• If you have a Standard ad, you may submit up to three lines of text to run beneath it. The text can be changed twice per month.
